Currently working on enhancing the performance of agroforestry systems (alley cropping) through optimizing biotic interactions and assessing the reservoir function of tree/shrub strips to harbour beneficial microbes. Previously working within the long-term biodiversity platform The Jena Experiment with focus on diversity and specialisation of arbuscular mycorrhiza as driver of long-term BEF relationships in plant communities.
